MEM required an EFMS to manage and track the distribution of subsidized fuel across Sudan. We developed a robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant solution that integrates with fuel dispensers, vehicle and fuel tracking, and POS systems, enabling MEM to effectively manage and track the distribution of subsidized fuel.

Our consortium, which consists of companies with expertise in agritech, fintech, VSLAs and NGOs, ICT, and data-hub services, has proposed to develop an Integrated Digital Agricultural Platform for smallholder farmers in Sudan.

The platform aims to enhance the resilience and productivity of farmers by providing access to financial services, agricultural advisory, and market linkages.

The case study analyzes licensing processes, permitted activities, governance requirements, and oversight bodies for SACCOS in Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda.

Findings highlight opportunities for Sudan to establish more comprehensive SACCOS regulations by emulating aspects of the Kenyan model like strict licensing, governance standards, and regulatory bodies.

4Who is an open-source fintech solution designed to address the issue of unbanked individuals in Sudan. Our integrated platform enhances the efficiency of aid distribution by facilitating offline and online transactions.

We worked closely with NGOs to understand the complexities of aid distribution, using these insights to shape our solution. Despite differing views on cash-based support within the NGO community, we firmly believe in the potential of cash-based initiatives to drive social impact in Eastern Africa.
