Overview
Addressing the issue of unbanked individuals in Sudan is a complex task. After working with NGOs and gaining an in-depth understanding of the challenges they face in distributing aid, we built 4Who - an integrated digital fintech platform designed to enhance the efficiency of aid distribution.
The question of cash-based versus non-cash-based support is a contentious one within the NGO community. Organizations like Oxfam advocate for cash-based initiatives through projects like Cash Unblocked, arguing that such initiatives provide recipients with greater agency and flexibility. Others favor non-cash-based support, citing concerns around security and misuse of funds.
At Fintech.sd, we believe in the potential of cash-based initiatives. We believe they can drive social impact in Eastern Africa, providing recipients with the flexibility to allocate resources according to their unique needs.
